Return & Refund Policy

At Seohara Express, we strive to deliver the best quality products to your doorstep. However, since we deal in perishable items (Food, Meat) and sensitive products (Medicine), we follow a strict Return & Refund Policy to maintain hygiene and safety standards.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: We strongly advise all customers to check their order at the time of delivery. Once the rider leaves your premises, no returns will be accepted for perishable items.

1. Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. You can cancel your order under the following conditions:

  • Before Confirmation: You can cancel your order anytime before it is confirmed by our team on WhatsApp.
  • After Confirmation (Within 10 Mins): Cancellations are allowed only within 10 minutes of placing the order.
  • Out for Delivery: Once the rider has dispatched with your order, cancellation is not allowed. You will be charged the full amount.

2. Category-Wise Return Policy

A. Frozen Food & Fresh Meat (Non-Returnable)

Due to health and hygiene regulations, we DO NOT accept returns for:

  • Fresh Raw Chicken / Mutton
  • Frozen Snacks (Nuggets, Kebabs, etc.)
  • Cooked Food items

Exception: If the packet is damaged, unsealed, or expired at the time of delivery, please return it to the rider immediately for a replacement.

B. Grocery & Daily Essentials

We follow a “Doorstep Return” policy. Please check all items while the rider is present.

  • If an item is missing or incorrect, return it to the rider instantly.
  • Once accepted, grocery items cannot be returned later as we procure them fresh for you.

C. Medicines

Medicines are non-returnable once sold, as per pharmaceutical laws, except in the following cases:

  • You received the wrong medicine (different from your prescription).
  • The medicine delivered is expired or damaged.

Note: Cut strips or opened bottles will not be accepted back under any circumstances.

3. Refund Policy

If your return is approved or an order is cancelled within the allowed time, refunds will be processed as follows:

A. For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Since no payment was made, the order will simply be cancelled with no liability.

B. For UPI / Online Payments

  • Refunds will be initiated within 24-48 hours of cancellation.
  • The amount will be credited back to the original source (UPI/Bank) within 5-7 working days depending on your bank.

4. Out of Stock Items

We act as a hyperlocal delivery partner. In rare cases, if an item ordered by you is unavailable at the local market/store:

  • We will inform you via WhatsApp immediately.
  • You can choose a substitute product or remove that item from the bill.
  • The final bill amount will be adjusted accordingly before delivery.
